November 21, 1964 - January 1, 2025
With sadness, we report the passing of Sue (Elvers) Leblanc ’82, sister of Lauren Elvers Collins '81 passed away on January 1, 2025 after a difficult year fighting cancer. Sue’s obituary can be read here. We are holding the family in the Light.
Susan Stacy “Sue” (Elvers) LeBlanc, 60, of Natick, died on January 1, 2025 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston following a period of declining health.
She was born in New York City, New York (in the Manhattan area) on November 21, 1964; the daughter of the late Walter Barton Elvers and Lita Melba (Abril-Lamarque) Elvers.
Sue was the loving wife for 28 years of Lewis L. LeBlanc of Natick. Beloved mother of Emily C. LeBlanc of Claremont, NH and Andrew J. LeBlanc of Natick. Sister of Lauren Collins of Brooklyn, NY.
She spent her formative years in Manhattan, NYC, NY, lived in Wayland for two years with her then soon-to-be husband, and has since resided in Natick since 1997.
She received her BS in Psychology and her Masters in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester. For many years prior to retiring she was a teacher in Elementary Education in the Wayland, Sudbury and Framingham school systems.
Sue was devoted to her family and enjoyed all the time spent with them especially all the time spent in Dennis at the Cape. She and Lew enjoyed riding on a three wheeler throughout the Cape. She loved to do crafts, woodworking and many projects in her wood shed at her residence. She had a special interest in refurbishing old fire boxes as a hobby and business venture. She will be missed by all who knew her.
At the request of the family, there will be no funeral home visitations and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
