Hello Friends,
During Reunion weekend, May 19-21, we welcomed back more than 200 guests and over 150 alumni across multiple decades for a truly memorable Reunion. It was a pleasure to celebrate the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1973; watching those who participated in the Pen Pal Project with Marcus’s Grade 4 class was particularly sweet.
After hearing so much about Ed Carroll ’56 and having the pleasure to exchange many calls and emails with him, it was a unique honor to finally meet the man. As part of Reunion programming, Ed was honored with a classroom named in his honor. When you visit, come to the fifth floor to see his Senior Class portrait hanging outside the Ed Carroll '56 Classroom.
Judging by the number of baby strollers parked in the Archive Room, we had a record number of children of alumni attend Musical Storytime led by Judy Anderson ’66. The Emeritus Ceremony, in which Michael Miller, Paul Qautinetz, Harriet Burnett and John Byrne were honored, was particularly memorable—together their tenures total 133 years.
Thank you to everyone who attended Reunion 2023. The event would not have been possible without the team of support and friends who helped to make it all happen.
In friendship,
Michael Mudho
Associate Director of Advancement for Alumni Relations
